Q: How long have you been in business?
A: En Avant Studio opened in the fall of 1980! This year we are celebrating 41 years!
Q: When can I enroll?
A: En Avant Studio accepts students for the school year-long classes (Intermediate and Advanced Classes) through the beginning of January and for the Adult Classes through April.
Q: At what age may students begin?
A: Students enrolling in the preteen/teen classes must be 9 years old by Sept 1 of the current school year. Students must be at least 18 years old to enroll in Adult Classes.
Q: What are your rates?
A: Registration Fees for the school year are $10-$15, with discounts available for early registrations. Summer registration is $5-$10 per new student (those not enrolled in the previous school year). Tuition during the school year is split into 3 payments for preteens and teens, with discounts available for those paying the entire year up front. Adult classes are based on 4, 8 & 12 Class Cards. Summer rates begin at $20 for a 1 hour class, with discounts available for multiple classes (same student).
Q: How do you offer such incredible, affordable rates?
A: We strive to make dance affordable for all people wanting to learn! We are family-owned and operated and all of our facilities and properties are paid in full (i.e. no rent, etc).
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 2525 Porter Rd, between Franz and Morton Ranch, across from Mason Creek Hike and Bike Park. Visit our Location page for door to door directions.
Q: How do I enroll?
A: Print the registration forms from the website (or contact the office to receive them by mail) and leave them in our Payment Box located outside the front door. Or mail the completed forms with your check or money order to En Avant Studio, PO Box 1259, Katy, TX 77492. Or call the office (281-391-7779) to schedule a time to come by and pay by cash, check or credit/debit card.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, money orders and debit/credit cards. Cash payments receive a written receipt and debit/credit cards receive a receipt via email (card must be presented for payment). For your convenience, we can send invoices by email that may be paid from your home computer or your phone with your debit/credit card.
Q: How do I receive free studio credit?
A: It's easy! Refer a friend, then remind them to list you as their reference on their registration form and you will receive $50 credit towards future classes! Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your credit notification in the mail. Contact the office for complete information.
Q: Can I watch a class first, before enrolling?
A: We believe once you try it, you'll love it and want to sign up! So, although we don't allow observers in the classrooms, you are welcome to try a class for free, no obligations. Just let us know when you want to come and we'll let you know what day/time is available! Free trial classes apply only during the school year and are not available during the summer. Free trial classes are not available in full classes. Also, ask about our free sample classes at our Fall Open House!
