We use wholesome music & allow no movements that we feel are not proper for a young lady/gentleman. We will treat all children equally, with respect & loving discipline. Likewise, we do not allow unwholesome or cruel talk among the students. We reward respectful behavior with a small treat, such as animal or fish crackers (please notify us of any allergies).
There is a waiting room available for parents and siblings during all classes. While no parents are allowed in the studios during classes, windows are available for viewing.
We offer classes only during the week, so you may spend your weekends together as a family. Occasional newsletters (Sunny’s Kids News) are published to remind you of important dates as well as provide additional information. Please keep these in a convenient location for instant reference. At registration, you may designate how you prefer to receive yours - via email (pdf) or mail. Newsletters and other notes are also available on the For Students Only page (password required) of the website .
We expect a commitment for the August/September to Maysession. Regular weekly attendance makes a better dancer and teaches discipline and commitment (which will carry over into their adult life). Encourage your child to be a good listener in class and to practice at home. Try to be prompt and prepare your young child(ren) outside the dance room (putting on shoes, etc.) so as to create as little distraction as possible. Children should be under adult supervision at all times, when not in the classroom.
